A cold spell, described as the worst in the latest 50 years, with intense snowfall, is cooling New Zeland where some countries are losing their electricity and streets which have been closed. In Auckland, the biggest city (in N. Z.), the snowfalls are the worst since '70s. "People should prepare at worst, they could not be moving from their house and they could be without electricity", said the Civil Protections of Wellington.
